HIGHLIGHTS AND OUTLOOK * Cash markets are composed mainly of millet souna. The stocks of other local products (sorghum, maize, groundnuts) are low to moderate depending on the region. * However, the buffer stock of imported rice available in late May 2014 amounted to 78 523 tonnes (ARM, weekly summary sheet No. 22). It strengthens the stock traders and guarantees good coverage of demand. * Prices of local cereals dry accused slight increases (millet, sorghum) compared to their in the previous month (April 2014) and at their level in May 2013 As against these prices, except for sorghum remain slightly above the five-year average. * Prices of pulses have remained relatively stable over the last two months but remain below their levels in May 2013 (-9 to -31%).
