The European dealabs Commission has approved 22 programs to promote agricultural products in the European Union and in third countries. The total budget for the majority of three-year program is 70 million and the EU it is contributing 35 million EUR. The selected programs cover quality products registered dealabs and protected as PDO (Protected Designation of Origin), PGI (protected geographical indication) and TSG (Traditional Speciality Guaranteed), wine, meat produced within the national quality schemes, organic produce, dairy, fresh fruits and vegetables, ornamental horticulture, honey and beekeeping products, beef, veal and pork, as well as the quality of poultry meat.

In the second wave submission dealabs programs for the year 2013, the Commission received dealabs 34 applications for funding dealabs and evaluation of the approved 22 programs for the internal market dealabs (15) and third countries (7). Two of the selected programs proposed jointly by several Member States. Third countries and regions to which these programs are targeted are: North America, Russia, dealabs Latin America, Norway, Switzerland, the Middle East, Serbia, Montenegro, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.
Council Regulation (EC) No 3/2008 provides that the EU could assist in financing of information and promotion actions for agricultural products on the EU internal market and in third countries. The total annual budget for these programs is approximately 60 million.
Financed actions may constitute public dealabs relations, promotional and advertising campaigns, in particular highlighting the advantages of EU products, especially in terms of quality, food safety and hygiene, nutritional value, labeling, animal welfare or production methods environmentally friendly. These measures may also include participation at events and fairs, information campaigns dealabs on the European system of protected designations of origin, protected geographical indications and traditional specialties guaranteed, information on European quality and labeling systems and organic farming, and information campaigns on the European system of quality wines produced in specified regions (psr).
